1969 300 Deluxe Post Sedan Chevelle

This car was built for the sole purpose to compete in the Factory Appearing Stock Tires Race Series http://www.fastraces.org/

This car began life as a Frost Green with Green Cloth interior - none SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan, this car was purchased in 2007 from Joe Mathison. This Chevelle is the cleanest, rust free 300 Deluxe Post Sedan I have ever seen. This car is an all original sheet metal car.

The car received a complete 100% frame off restoration and repainting to it`s current state of Glacier Blue. The interior has also received a color change, we used an all original 300 Deluxe Black bench seat and rear seat. Door panels are also very hard to find original Black "300 Deluxe" panels. Headliner and carpet are not original, but are new.

The reason`s the car is being sold, is that the Gateway Raceway has closed its doors and we are now into building Pro-Touring Chevelle`s.

This Chevelle could be sold as a roller, with no motor or trans with stock 12 bolt rear end. Price is $22K. YOU COULD NOT DUPLICATE THIS CAR FOR THIS PRICE!

Or the car can be purchased just as it sits today with the race engine and race trans and special rear end that is currently in the car. The rear end has all Mark Williams lightened axles, spool, and gears. No hop bars are installed on rear end. Lots of changes have been made to the suspension. Race Power Glide transmission with internal brake and reverse shift pattern, light weight straight cut planetary gear set, aluminum drum. Lots of tricks done to the L89 based engine, too much to list. Feel free to call if you have any questions. $20K alone spent on this engine. Electronic- programmable MSD #7, on-board computer to help with traction control, Davis traction control, delay box, tach and gauges, Price is $44K complete.
