I talked to Pat a couple of weeks ago when he had his 67 camaro for sale and he did tell me he was going pro mod raceing and that was the reason for selling the 67.That 67 was a real 4K car by the way.Dont know if it sold or not.

Not only was that a real 4K car, but it was one of the very few that came from the factory with a 3spd. standard trans. The original color combo was cool too, emerald turquoise with a black vinyl top. Nice car all the way around.
