the wheel centers are actually for 14" wheels WITH disc brakes ... very kool accessory
However, I was a little confused about the NO RESERVE portion as required by this site, the centers have a $150 starting bid ... ? or maybe I don't really understand what "no reserve" means

John is still within the rules of this forum but I agree with the "no reserve" thing. It is the most mis-used term on Ebay. If you have a $150 starting bid then the reserve is $150. A true no reserve auction would start at $1 or less. I start all auctions at $.99 and let them run.

I don't care either way, but in my mind, it is still no reserve even if there is a starting bid of XX dollars. What is the difference if it is one dollar or a hundred? The main point to me is that if I am the highest bidder, I win the item.
I hate wasting my time watching and bidding only to find out that the "reserve has not been met" and that it was an unreasonable reserve that never would have been met anyway. |

getting back to the wheel centers, I think there was a "barn find" Z28 or SS 396 that had these on it in California last year? It was a drag car. Very cool accy IMHO
I did not mean for this to be a bashing of the "no reserve" rule, I was just confused is all, as I too think that a high reserve IS a reserve ... ![]()

Ebay charges a lot to place a reserve these days. Why play the "bidding game" with a $1 starting bid when you can start your auction with a reasonable opening bid in the first place?
