Default 1969 Camaro 396 Quadrajet carburetor manual trans!

I just listed an original quadrajet carb for a 69 camaro with manual transmission on ebay for $9.99 with no reserve. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...em=280362313469

Would this be an over the counter replacement carb? I thought a factory original Qjet would have had a letter/number date code under the part number and would have been the same for a chevelle BB 4spd. I only ask because I am not familiar with camaro part numbers.

By the date code I would say its a replacement part, but that being said its still a good carb if you need a BB one. I searched for 3 years before I found mine and the funny thing is it was made by Carter not Rochester. Good luck with the sale. Mark

That was a hefty price for a core, but when you need it you'll pay stupid money, I've been there a few times. Mark

I bid on that April Qjet as that was the month I needed. Somebody else REALLY needed it. WOW!

I will keep my eyes open for one and let you know what I come up with. My car was an early car so that is why it took me so long to get one, but since your car is later it shouldn't be as bad. Mark
