Default 1959 Austin A35, Wicked Nostalgic Street Machine..

1959 Austin A35, Ed "BIG DADDY" Roth would be proud of this car! all it needs is the Rat Fink on top of it!! Powered by a 1969 Z/28 DZ302 engine (STILL HAS ORIGINAL STAMPINGS), TH400 Trans, Dana Rear End, Power Brakes, New American Racing Salt Flat Special Wheels with new Hoosier Tires(0 miles on them), Wheelie Bars, Nice Newer Paint, nice chrome (lots replated), Am/Fm/CD, Trophy winner, way smaller than a VW Bug.

The car is de-tuned to run good on the street now but when it had the solid lifters, big cam and carb and 5.38 Gears this car was a ride! The car is still quick but can be controlled now!

It is a absolute crowd pleaser and the women love it!! It gets more attention than any of my cars. Nicely Built, street legal and drives good. Pictures dont do it justice it looks like a toy!

Also comes with new vinyl decals done old school in twisted gold leaf out lined in black for each door that read "BIG STUFF"

The car developed a oil leak sitting in storage this winter, might need a new gasket or maybe just something tighted (I havent looked yet) easy fix.

$17,900 507-208-0191 Andy

Looks like a hand grenade. As long as you keep the pin in you're okay, but pull the pin and watch out!

Back in the very late '70's, when I was about 10 years old, HOT ROD Magazine featured a black Fiat Topolino that was very much in this vein. It was all engine (early Hemi) and tires. I loved the car, but was struck even then by the driving arrangement that this car shares. You'll see the gas pedal is over on the other side of the car, making for a "wide stance" when driving. The Fiat had a push button Torqueflite, so the shifter took up a bit less real estate. Wild rides, for sure.

Might be a good idea to post the numbers on that DZ/302. Maybe the owner is around and would buy the car to marry the motor up to his Z/28.

I checked the numbers on the motor, front pad reads V0507DZ
There are NO vin numbers on the motor (PAD or OIL FILTER) I can get the cast numbers and date if someone is interested.

If someone was looking for a good running Z motor you could pull this motor and put in another small block and get your money back and have a Original Stamped DZ motor for you labor.

This car also still has the original spring loaded windows which work great! No window cranks just push of the window up or down and it stay where you leave it. Very Unique car that would look great lettered up similar to the car "NO BIG THING" Vespa Drag Car
