Default Color change opinions

I'm looking for opinions on how a color change will effect the value of a 68 Firebird I am doing. It was originally Mayfair Maize(Butternut Yellow) with a black top and black deluxe interior. When I got it, the paint had been changed to black and the car looked stunning. The paint was old so I have stripped the car to metal and am ready to repaint it. My dilema is I want to reapint the car black but I think the value may be in repainting the car the original color. I will drive the car for awhile but the problem is I like to restore cars more than I do keep them; so it will be sold in the near future to make room for the next. The original engine is long gone, but it has its PHS report so to me it is fairly insignificant. Any opinions on the color choice would be greatly appreciated. By the way, the car is a 68 400 HO 4 speed convertible .

Thanks,

Jason
