Here's my version that I purchased in college. It was a daily driver in rain, snow or sunshine.

This car seemed to be the center of attention every time I took it out. That was back in the 70’s. Today, it’s all about factory Original Survivors for me. BTW, I removed the Fuel Injection unit and replaced it with a carburetor and sold the car. That FI and a mint Teak Wheel moved to California with me in ‘78.

What year is the fi unit and what intake manifold is that? Did you chrome everything yourself? Also, what motor is in it? Thought the car was a big block but looks like mouse motor. That’s why I asked what manifold cause I thought it was a big block cause of the hood.Love the detail!

I still have the Teakwood wheel which I bought at the Bob McDorman show in Columbus, OH. in 1975 and plan to keep for now.
The FI unit was sold decades ago. The engine under that FI was a ‘70 LT1 with the Hooker Headers. That combination was very quick.

Oh man, all of these custom early C3's scratch my itch. I love those polished slots, side pipes and custom touches. You all had some killer Vettes and I'm jealous.

Here is my late brother with his 71 back in about 1974. That look and stance was very common on C-3’s back then. The red back window in his car was always a great conversation piece too.

I’ve shared these before, but here’s my 71 LS6 in I believe early to mid 1974:
