Ken, did you do any additional prep work to the grille beyond what's shown in the pictures?

Just repainted the Black...........The Grille was in Perfect shape prior to my Fiasco in cleaning it.....

As I remember it was about $150 for Stripping, Bright Dip, and re-anodize.........

I just got my latest batch of aluminum back from the anodizer Friday. I will post some pics after detail painting.

If anyone is still interested in Aluminum anodizing. This is who did all the aluminum on my 66 SS. His work is phenominal.

Bill, I used Anobrite for re-anodizing) on a recommendation from Haislip and I was very happy with the results. Price was reasonable too.

Hey Guys,New to this site.I own a 65 Nova SS and just restored Bill's 69 El Camino trim.Came out real nice.Been restoring Aluminum and Stainless for 20 yrs.I also work hand in hand with a top notch chrome plater.Did some stainless for Tom Williams so i guess i'm doing something right!
