Been on EBAY a few times.
Anyone know it?
Where do I look to see if the VIN matches a VIN in the COPO Registry?
Thnx

I live near Dale Chev and have known of the car since the '70s. It is the real deal but no paper work or OE drivetrain.

Shouldn't this car have a 140 speedo?

The 140 mph speedo was part of COPO 9737; this car does not have that option.

COPO 9561 included the L72 engine, 4.10:1 HD positraction axle, HD cooling, 7" wheels, dual exhaust, special ducted hood. It required an optional transmission and power front discs.

COPO 9737 included the speedo, 15 x 7 rally wheels with E70 x 15 tires, HD suspension. It probably required COPO 9560 or 9561. All 69 Yenko Camaros have both COPOs and are known as "double COPOs". A few other dealers also ordered double COPOs. There is a third COPO, 9511 for 4.56:1 or 4.88:1 gears. Two COPOs and one Z/28 are documented with it.
