Cops ticketing for not having SMOG equipment

Get 57 Chevy There was NO SMOG EQUIMENT on them
I would like to see some cop ask where is the cat
Nothing they can do if that is the game they are playing out there thats how you beat them drive an older car that never came with smog equiment

about 6 years ago when I restored my 70 chevelle ss L78
I told my friend that I was going to install the pollution
pump on the car back to original.The reason I wanted to put that equipment back on the car was because I knew that someday the cops are going to fine anyone that does not have it.My friend said to me I was F--- in Nuts. I payed 3500.00 for a complete original almost NOS one. Then he realy thought I had lost it.

That is not true. If the engine is not an original that the smog has to date the engine that is in it. Also, the car still has to have C.A.R.B. certification so its not as simple as you may think. I do not know all the ins and outs but a 57 Chevy can still get popped.

Jason I do under stand this But if you have a motor dated before smog checks there is not a hell of beans that they can do also I have learned ways to beat the smog system years ago the epa should be band and out of business
Just look at the R -12 b/s only to find years later that they were totally wrong and that R-12 did nothing to the ozone layer This is why I do NOT recycle freon this is just plane money maker
My last job I worked at cargo city in Philly and the crap that would come out of a 747 of 767s would put out more pollution in five mins than 10.0.000 cars would in an hour
The EPA can take a jump of a building When they can make a 747 pass a smog check then they should worry about cars But going after some ones classic car is much easier
And in California The EPA police are all wackos and in the end make fools of them self and make some one life a hell
