I just got home from our weekly car cruise in Lemont.
It was GTO night and there musta been 30 or more there from every year.(slow turn out due to rain forecast).I saw at least 4 GTO's for sale,two were clones.All well restored top notch cars.
Come to Downers Grove Friday night 6-9PM as it's GTO night there as well.Main st. is the staple,but the theme cars (GTO's) take up court on Curtiss st.
There's always been a Big GTO contingent here in Northwest Il.If you don't see something you like in person there,I'll bet you a TastyKake one of these owners knows of something to your liking in a garage nearby.
SuperChevy is this weekend too at Rt.66 in Joliet and it's not unheard of too see a Pontiac-Olds-Buick there.
