Seems a roller lifter came apart, lots of metal everywhere, spun two main bearings with a needle bearing actually passing through one of the crank journals. Needless to say, not good.
Because the amount of damage necessitates a major rebuild, we felt this would be a good time to put things back closer to the way it was raced in the ‘70s, factory intake, carb, air cleaner, radiator shroud, etc. Hopefully we can get everything up and running by the SCR.
