Well for one thing, the base is a repo cowl induction base and the snorkels are too narrow.

Thanks Nils for posting the picture. I was trying to find some older posts on here that had pictures of original L78/LS6 dual snorkel air cleaners to post for comparisons. I know this has been discussed before here on the site. The snorkels are definately wrong, you can tell by looking at this picture of the real one. Thats what didn't seem right to me the first time I looked at the one on e-bay..
If someone could post some other photos of the L78/LS6 dual snorkel air cleaner it would probably clarify the issues & questions others might have.. Thanks Guys.... Rich ![]() ![]()

I also would like to have a discussion to help establish my belief that ALL 1970 L-78 Camaros had a factory smog hose configuration as shown in this assy manual diagram...... ....BUT ya know what, nobody has ONE photo of a 70 Camaro ORIGINAL engine bay.....I mean old school 1970 photo showing a stock eng compartment.......
