| Ed Stinn Chevrolet 1969 COPO Camaro Pictures

A good friend of mine gave me pictures of his brother's 1969 COPO Camaro he bought brand new in 1969 the other day! These pictures were of the car the way it came from the dealership!!! The car was a Garnet Red, black vinal top COPO. The car was purchased new at Ed Stinn Chevrolet. It was sold in the late 70's. Car was drag raced and sold to a doctor down south. Any one here have it or know where it is please call me I have doc's for you! Jeff 216-905-1983 |

Does the car have style trim? If you have a VIN, that would be helpful. There's a few that I know that could be it.

Well I got some more info on the car the other day. From my new information the car was sold from Mike Keener in 1972 to an airline pilot in Alabama. I am working on the name right now. Thanks, Jeff |

I bet it´s this one, owned by C.K Spurlock of Hendersonville, Tennessee in 1990. He had this one and the L.A COPO, and lots of other BB Chevrolets.

I know right where Stinn's dealership once stood. I wish I would have taken pictures of it before they tore down the building in the late 90s. Now there is a Big Lots Dept. Store & Aldis Grocery Store where it was.. They sold some performance/COPO cars back in the day. I talked with the old service manager from there who said Ed was really into those kinds of cars.. I have some really neat dealership memorabilia from there... Here is Ed himself in this commercial circa 1980s.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9zGZkBDIGk Rich

Here is the guys name that Mike sold the car to. Bill Anderson. It was sold in 1973 not 1972. Does anyone know how to get ahold of C.K. Spurlock? I could find out very quickly if it is the car or not. I have the pictures and tried to upload them without any sucess. If someone would help me I would post them. Thanks, Jeff |

If C.K. Surlock's car has it's original drive train than this is not the car. I know for a fact that the motor and trans were long gone. The original rear end may still have been in the car but very doughtful. Thanks, Jeff |
