| Re: SS Wheel valve stem extensions

How long should these be??? I found some in the bottom of my tool from when I was working at Monkey Wards mounting tires mid 1970's... Some are 3/4" and some are 1" with Shrader USA around the top and the white button... Crash |

Crash....Im not sure on the length they should be. I did find another number in my research. The N66 (Super Sport wheel) and PO1 (Full Sized hub cap) have the 9417745 number and PO2 (Possibly the full sized spoked not sure as there was a mag looking full sized available also))and they are 9417730. I would take whatever you have. How many of each do you have? Thanks

While out over the weekend I pulled into a parking space next to a new Grand Marquis - I didn't have my glasses on - but it had valve stem extensions on it that looked just like the white tipped extensions previously posted here.

What makes the lug nuts so rare? They look identical to the ones that came on the Deuces.

I think the crown is taller on original production line ones vs. over the counter ones. I'll bet detailed diagramed pics will soon follow.

BTW... Did we ever decide for sure that Yenko Deuces used the same nuts as the Chevelle SS wheels? Since they would have been shipped with XT wheels and the Magnum 500's added, I always wondered if the 500's came shipped with a set of stainless capped nuts like GM installed wheels, or if Yenko just ran across the street to the local tire shop and got some chrome acorn nuts for them... Heck, I wouldn't have been surprised if he reused the open ended nuts from the XT's! What's your yellow car have on it Mayor?
