What do you mean power coming out of the starter? Does this car use a junction block on the firewall to distribute power to the ignition switch?

check the 10? guage wire junction block behind the battery on the rad support.

Sorry, junction block on the core support is what I meant. That is the most common cause of the situation you are describing.

Power does not come out of the starter. Where your positive cable bolts to the starter there is another large, probably 10 guage wire that probably goes to the junction block mentioned behind the battery.In essence, the wire simply takes it's power for the car from the positive battery cable.

Thanks Guys,
The junction block from the positive terminal that is under the passenger side fender was the issue, couldn't see the Broken wire. My wife traced it with the schematics and found the problem. Back runnin' Like a Bear Now. Thanks again for everyones help. Great Bunch. . . . ![]()
