Here are a few more.
This is my buddys dads new 1969 Chevelle SS L78 396 M21 4 speed Convert that he ordered from Mr. Ed at Brigance Chevrolet in Oak Park, ILL while in Viet Nam (Ed ran an ad in Stars & Stripes). George picked up the car upon his return in December 1968. The pics are early 1969 (as seen by the orange 1969 ILL plates). The location is Cicero, Illinois at Cermak Rd. & 57th Ave. Only cause i know some might ask for more pics..... ![]()

Rick, I was told it might have been some sort of alarm system or something?
Kind of doubt it though considering the car was stolen shortly afterwards from that same spot. ![]() Here is a cool "vintage" street shot of some dudes Deuce.

This was the way it done back then! - - ![]() - - My '66 had the alarm switch in between the flags - - ![]() - - The alarms were easily over come - they were mounted the way the one in the Chevelle was - facing down. A thief would just crawl under the car and jam a screw driver into the alarm siren and disable it!
