Who would've ever guessed that a pair of window corner mouldings would be in such high demand?
Or what about a pair of door switches? How about some lug nuts?? Maybe a set of center caps are the last thing you need to wrap up that high-dollar restoration? Santa? No. Capitalism? Yes. As long as there are people out there who need these parts and have the means to obtain them, then the only limiting factor is the buyers bank account and/or line of credit. I've even seen $900.00+ spent on a NOS GM Hurst shifter bolt & nut on eBay a couple of years ago. In light of the above, a $10K carb doesn't seem that difficult to believe. Eric |
