We made the deal with only a handshake. That's the thing about old school farmers. Most all business they did back in the day was with a hand shake. He held the car with no deposit, actually refused a deposit from me. All my buddies said that he will sell the car to somebody else, but I knew he wouldn't. I told him that I had to move some money around and I had to wait. He said that he would wait too. A hell of a guy he is. 2weeks later and I finally have the car. It's not like the car could have been pulled from the barn with all of the snow and mud in the laneway anyways.
