It's kind of a trial and error thing unless you can find someone that has done the install. Our son ended up with a colostomy bag on his side for a summer resulting from a lap belt rupturing his intestines. In the front seat, with shoulder belts, the driver had some rash and was back to work the next day. There was a TV show showing the results of several accidents. The kids in the back seat, with seat belts only, had their backs broken and were paralyzed. The adults in the front, with shoulder belts, were fine. You have a smart wife.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
