There's nothing like fresh paint. I painted a 64 Malibu SS today. Its an original Hawaii car with a 6 cylinder/powerglide. Not a muscle car but cool anyway.

Its an original heater delete. The paint came out nice. I painted it right where it sits in the photo. The 2H on the trim tag shows the heater delete option.

![]() lets see when its polished up. There is nothing uncool about a 6cyl/PG just keep it in low and enjoy the powerband between 45-50 mph. ![]() isn't a 5837 a V8 SS ? though it would not be the first time I have seen the cowl tag indicate V8 and vin says 6cyl |

The VIN shows a 6 cylinder. The trim tags always show the V8 code since fisher body was only concerned with drilling the correct holes ect.

Does it have buckets with console too? Is that a 230 cu engine with the chrome accessories? Wish mine was that clean. |
