That was quite the weekend! bkh trailered my Deuce for me to Shor's place, and I drove the Goodmark car from PA to NJ ... a pretty neat hotrod with big block, air-ride and a Gear Vendors overdrive. A definite attention grabber (and gas hog!) We got lost abut 3 times, I ran out of gas on the turnpike, and the trailer hauling my car chewed up a wheel bearing on the way home, stranding my car, the trailer, and Joey's truck at a turnpike rest stop overnight somewhere outside of Carlisle!!! I had to go to work the next day, so Brian and Joe drove the whole way back to fix the trailer and retrieve my rest-stop stranded Deuce the next morning. To top it all off, Joey S. got a ticket from the PA state police on the return trip...A wild weekend for sure, and one I'll never forget! It was still a neat show in the long run.
