GM did like to underrate the motors. But those were the changes from 67 to 68 as far as the L-79 was concerned? They had the same compression ratio and the same .447 lift cam. The horsepower was printed at a different rpm range from 67 to 68. 5800rpm in 67 down to 5600rpm in 68. Looks like they started the insurance blindfold early? Those L79's must have screamed! Anyone have any 307's laying around? Gives me and idea....Thanks for the info Tom and I thought you were just a BB guy. I think that we need to start a Nova shoot out. What would Wayne say?
