TA was a very low mile car but cars were bringing great money for what they were.

Kasey...I didn't see the final price but there was a corvair wagon that I think I saw at about 8K before I got sidetracked and didn't see it end. I thought it was strong money for about a 64 wagon.

There was a red 1979 TA, 400, 4 speed (desirable) w/ 300 miles that sold on ebay a few months ago. I think it went for mid 30's. I had a '79 403 auto in 1979. Kept it for 3 months - total POS. I alway thought the '79 400, 4 speed was considered the last "desirable" TA. It is to me anyway. $63k for a 301 turbo is shocking. I am so priced out of this hobby.

Un-verified, but I have heard that in Vegas the casinos put "plants" at slot machines in high-traffic areas that win a lot...

I know nothing more than those cars were about the worst GM F-Bodies ever built; they are total crap, no performance, rattletraps with tacky decals. I don't care if it had 7K miles on it, whomever bought it either wanted their 20 seconds of fame, or won the Powerball.

Any early Turbo T/A or Formula is a candidate for worst car ever, and viable evidence of approximately when GM de-railed.

+++ Charley +++ Looking at the price's they are getting,it is well below the price for similar car's on EBAY.. Of course I don't know the condition of the ones at BJ, that would make a difference. Hope you, and the other guys are having a great time. As the ole //// Indiana Jone's /// Knight said in the cave, when you pick a Car, Spend your Money <<< Wisely >>>.. ...Kasey
