Thanks Bruce. Sorry Jed, it left my possession in early spring of 71 as a wadded up POS. Hitting bridges at high rates of speed will do that.

I didn't have it long enough to try that. Crashed it with 5k on the ticker. The other side of how life works is, had I not crashed it, I never would have owned my yellow deuce. I most likley would have sold it down the road, and life would have taken a different path. I'd have never came to this site, and you all would have never had the opportunity to meet me. Just see what you all would have missed.

can someone please tell me what does having red oxide primer underneath mean. not trying to be a jerk, i just dont know what it signifies.

Jeff, Some G.M. mfg plants such as Camaros at Norwood, Ohio starting in 1970 used Red Oxide primer that entire body was submerged in. Other plants used a shade of Black primer..

Maybe someone will post a complete list of cars, plant locations and primer colors.
