The turn out was simply amazing. I've been going since the early 70s when 12 people was a good turn out. We had 69 turn out tonight.We split 4 delegates between Edwards, and Clinton although Obama was viable through the first round, and only missed by a couple of votes.
Obama truly had a very good ground organization, and someone asked if the young people would show up. In Ia. they did. Huckabee was no surprise on the GOP side. He's a pretty easy to like guy even for us Democrats. He actually may be a real compassionate conservative. Maybe even to compassionate for main stream GOPers as his poverty, and help for the working class isn't that far from Hillary's All in all, very interesting. And a opportunity to make a small difference.
