Here is what the old dealer option sheet shows... $8.45 5T60AH So there is no way I can get the spring rings and put them back on the original cables?

Yep, that's the heavy duty battery option. No way I know of to put spring ring ends back on your existing cables ... the lead is formed right to the end of the plastic coated cable, not screwed on like replacement terminals.

Well that is ashame. I guess I would be best to leave it alone since they are the original cables huh. BUT, are the after market repos identicle to the originals? If so, where would get some good ones?

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Should be side post with Y77 battery. [/ QUOTE ] He said his car HAS the heavy duty battery option, therefore the top post/spring rings are what he needs, not a side post Y77, even if his car was built late. [/ QUOTE ] Seem my previous post: "T60 (HD) was an R69 battery, and was a top post throughout the year." I missed heavy duty battery statement in his orig post.

Kurt, I am pretty sure it says BJ, but that was the cable where the #'s and letters were kind of hard to read. I will look again tonight when I get home. Thanks for the help!
