My very 1st car was a 65 Impala. Originally a 283 , 3 speed on the column. It was converted to a 3 speed in the floor and had a 69 350/300 camaro engine in it w/ 373 rearend. The car would haul butt. Amazingly the registration showed the car only weighed 3525 lbs.I don't know why i remember the weight on the registation, but, i do. I payed $800 for it. I sold it to a buddy for $650 and it ran forever. It had bucket seats from a Mustang in it. The best value i ever had in a car.

Does anyone know where this car ended up? I believe it sold at Mecum last Fall in Chicago Lot F307. My friend has been after this car for a while and would like to know if the new owner would consider selling......
