Don't mean to hijack the thread, but does anyone happen to have a used set of GM door and roof weatherstrip for a 69 Camaro hardtop? I'm looking to replace the weatherstrip on a decent original driver. Please pm or email me at [email protected] if you have some you'd sell.

Thanks,
Helmut

Frankly, I question how good 38 year old rubber can actually be? In the original wrapper or not.

Correct me if I'am wrong please.

All depends on how they were stored. I have NOS ones for my 70 chevelle that were purchased in the late 70's and they are just as nice as the day I bought them. No cracks dryness etc. They were in a bed room closet. The only NOS parts I can say I have had any trouble with is the plastic items that are not black and any part that originally had some foam on it.They both seem to break down no matter how you store them.
Just my experiences

Never had a problem with any NOS weatherstrips I have purchased. Having been stored properly is the key.

Steve, and are the NOS ones ever nice to install vs the repo. You can fight for days with some of the replacements where the Gm ones fit first time.
