We still have a few A&W's in this part of the world, but we're loosing them fast...I can think of a couple of *new* A&Ws that have popped up, but know of a bunch of originals that are gone! We do have a few old, original Dog 'N' Suds around, though...stop at the one in Cherokee Pass on the way up/back to the SCR!

We had Dog N Suds here too. I spent a lot of time at the one in Surrey, BC in the early 70's.
A&W's are alive and well here in western Canada. Every small town has one, although there's no more carhops.

We used to have a lot of them back in the Chicago area, but to the best of my recollection there haven't been any around there for at least 25 years We used to refer to them as "Arf 'N Bubbles"

stopped at an A&W last week off 94 on the way to Milwaukee.
Carhop brought us our stuff. Commented to the wife that would be great for a car show if they paved the lot.
Still a mean float!
