Beautiful car in the Juliano Collection. These cars were the same as their other Javelin brothers with the exception of the paint and the rear spoiler. That being said, the write-up on this car (if the engine was built to factory spec) states the horsepower at 340. The only AMC that came out of the doors of the Kenosha (or Brampton, ON plant) was the Rebel Machine which was rated at 340. That HP level was met by different intake and exhaust manifolds. Also as a side note, if you ordered your Javelin SST with a 360 in 1970 you may have gotten the special T/A block with thicker webbing and provisions for 4 bolt mains.

Very true. I had a 1970 Big Bad Orange Mark Donohue special with black landau vinyl roof and black stripes. Special casting 360 TA block. Car was featured in full color center spread of an issue of Collectible Automobile magazine. License plate on car said T A JAV
