I started looking for the build sheet last night; I took the bench seat out and looked underneath but didn’t see anything. I think somebody suggested I look behind the cover, I guess that requires removing the hog rings??? It would be nice to find the build shield, it’s when you need to find the build you can’t, but when you don’t need the build sheet you find it. For instance, my 1970 W-30 I got out of Canada that I got the documentation from Canada on. I pulled the seat out; which the car itself had more mice than Carter had liver pills, I found the build sheet right away. I am going to have to do some more work looking this weekend.

This car was definitley on the road past 1974. It belonged to a neighbor of mine into the 80's. It ran on the streets with an alcohol injected big block. I have a photo of the car in front of my house in 1981, but need to scan and post. I will forward this to him.He may want to see it again.

Joseph,
Is this your first time looking for a build sheet in a Chevelle? I see you restore cars as a hobby and I am surprised it has taken this long for you to look?

I know that many if us are waiting in anticipation.

Good luck.

PS. It would be nice for members to fully identify themselves. There might be quite a few Yenko.net members in your area, that would be more than willing to lend a helping hand.
