Kendall,

Thanks so much for going out of your way to post pics of Alberts former 300 Deluxe Chevelle.....I really appreciate it. What a very nice Chevelle. Too bad about the rainy weather....it happens to rain on every Power Tour.

Ken....I`m sure you would have come through for me aswell...but Kendall beat you to it....you must have been to busy shopping with the wife

I was there Ken - What a pain in the a$$!!! I looked for you, but I was not sure what you looked like and I didn't see your car either... Saturday was beautiful here, I wish the weather had held out. At least you are heading west where the weather is predicted to be better for Monday.

Take care! Rob M.

Went Saturday and baked in the sun with Rich (Mr. Chevy) and Steve (68L30). The showing of cars was truly spectacular. There was something there for everyone. On Sunday morning my wife and I picked a spot where the cars entered the highway leaving Cleveland and watched cars go by for 3 hours. I know there was a traffic jam leaving on the route the power tour suggested, there were a several cars that suffered heat stroke by the time they got to the highway.

Here is a picture of Rich's car (70 L78 Nova, 27K), Steve's 68 Camaro (loaded and mint!!!) and my 69 SS with 27K miles.

Nice shot Phil. '68, '69 & 70......... Camaro, Nova & Chevelle! Seems like I've seen a similar grouping somewhere else.

Rainy here (Springfield area) on Sunday and predicting more for today........ but we've got an 'All Clear', and temps in the high 70s for Tuesday when the gang rolls into Central Illinois. Wishing everyone a safe and trouble-free trip.

I ran across several "Power Tourers" along I-294 this morning around 10:00a.m. It was pouring down rain....I felt so sorry for the guy in an A.C. Cobra.....he had half a tonto cover and was dressed in full protective gear....but it was raining buckets. The others I saw...was a Sub Line Green Post Sedan GTX/Road Runner? An Orange Dart....perhaps 71-72? A Black First Gen Camaro....looked very nice. This weather just won`t let up
