YIKES almighty!!!!!! I still see the fuel filler hole in the quarter. Are you bringing it back to race trim??????????????? You have one HELL of a car there!!
![]() ![]() Just so you know, the '66 Chevelle had it's AERO emblem on the left side of the flat trunk panel, about 2" away from the taillights, centered vertically. I couldn't think of a better place for this emblem to go!!!! It'll be in the mail Mon. (got your PM) ![]() ![]() |

Thanks Rick. I feel really good about being able to provide him with an original dealer emblem. That car sure deserves it! So, it's really the FIRST Z-28 huh? Man, what a special car!!!

Dave,
I don't know if I'll be going back there or not. I probably should because there are several cars I didn't get to see. I think we got about 20 documented to add to the dbase. I'll keep my eyes open for you. Anyone know how long AERO was in business? ![]() |

WOW! That's some legacy! I wonder how many Chevrolet dealers there were across the US in 1920. I know in 1963 there were about 6800.
By the way, I just got back from the P.O. It's taped to a piece of wood in a padded envelope so it "should" survive the trip. ![]() Verne |
