------Thanks so much for the great pics. All are interesting, but I find the 64 GTO, the big Poncho convert, Excaliber, and the small-block Cobra convert all very, very cQQl......Bill S

These are some really cool pics....thanks...I wonder if that big Pontica show car is the one in the Bortz collection....I remember seeing it many years ago and it was supercharged if I remember correctly...just can't recall the color or model...

I think that is the Pontiac 'X 400' show car. There was a story with pictures a few years ago but they said it had been crushed. It seems to have style vents behind the door like a 1963 Buick Riviera. Hood scoops and lettering on the hood to. Notice the black GTO 2dr post in the background. The Pontiacs and the Corvette have 'redline' tires- check the whitewalls! on the choptop dodge. I think these pictures were taken in 1964 and not 1963. Still great to see!

The first shots were taken in 1963 - everything from the overall shot showing the Sunbeam Imps for $1495 and down were taken in 1964.
Glad you liked them!

Those pics are way cool. WOW, prices posted also. Now lets take a look at the crowd (or lack of it) and everyone dressed in their Sunday best. Just like the ol' ball games. Times have really changed.

You can be sure the rides that were on display in that Playboy booth are in need of a total restoration by now.

Very cool pictures! The pontiacs look awesome. The hood on that red vette reminds me of 67 Impala SS427, with the separate simulated "intercoolers" in the bulge down the center.
