| Camaro 13/16" Swaybar

I exploded the front suspension on my 69 Z/28 today as things were looking pretty tired and it appeared to be all original components. I went to install the new sway bar bushings and they were way to small. I measured the bar and it is 13/16" Is that common on a Z or uncommon? I thought that Z's just had the standard 11/16 bar" Any info would be appreciated.

Does your Z have a 140mph speedo. Could it have been ordered with the sports car conversion package? Paul

OK, I gave up and ordered a new Hotchkis kit. I guess I will sell the 13/16" to someone working on a COPO. If anyone is interested send me a PM. I did a search and see a member here sold one for $350 2 years ago. I don't know if that is still in the ballpark or if they are worth more or less? I can take a picture if anyone is interested. Thanks..

Why not bore out the 11/16 to 13/16? I'd keep the bigger sway bar....especially if you believe it to be original. |
