I'd be glad to put him in an "original" ZL1 prototype alum. block which would be worth more than an iron block ? My block is what the ZL1 began its life as for sure . Thanks , Richard

I would like to add something to the engine block controversy but I've heard sooooo many different stories that I don't know what to believe.

Driver I am confused you say worth more than a ZL-1 Iron block. All ZL-1's had factory aluminum blocks. So I would say no, it is worth more with it's original aluminum block.

I meant it would be worth more with a ZL1 prototype alum. block rather than the non alum. whatever iron block that is in it . They were talking about it being a true ZL1 car but with some ole iron block in it now . Thanks , Richard

No. They are mixing up two cars that were both Lamarr Waldens. One was a ZL1 and it has a aluminum engine and the other is a COPO with a cast engine.
