OK, I cleared up my membership hiccup with the Clary clan (thanks Tom and Rob) so I'm five stars all the way. Any smack I've talking since Jan 30th can now be considered "legitimate". Please send one of those many SAE mechanics to find that NOS argent grille.... |

Is it being an @$$ hole to think that one of the camaro emblems wouldn't be even close to strait on a 60k car?....or the radiator hose doesn't fit? I'm no expert, but would a 69 Z... have a 6000 redline tach? It's a damn nice car..but to be the car that it's stated to be....it needs a little more work! Tom |

Thanks for all the publicity as It may have found a buyer who is not afraid to straighten an emblem and tighten a radiator hose if needed. |

Nobody is saying do not advertise here as we have had pieces of junk sucessfully sold on this site. We are just saying be accurate in your description of a car when advertising. Talking up a less than perfect car will hurt a sale on this site. Nice car by the way. I especially like the caulking in the rivets holding the trim tag.......

[ QUOTE ] Speaking of ARGENT SILVER grills........any knowledgeable painters here with correct brand,#,type, product, to buy in either gun paint or aeresol ???????? [/ QUOTE ] PPG 8568 Dupont 42153 I used the PPG 8568 on the last car I did, and liked the way it looked. Icould not get it mixed in Lacquer , seems PPG dropped the formula for it. I used Acrylic Enamal, it was fine. You can also get this mixed in the OMNI line too. As far as the Garnett Red Z in this thread, if it were mine, it would go stright to the rotiserie for the Love it needs ! |

Thats right don't take the nitpicking personally, ive sold many of cars just from the publicity it provides as you stated. Im sure the nitpickers cars can be picked as well.
