'63 Grand Sports (w/ a D unlike a Buick) did have a similar look but w/ some fluted vanes in the scoops..
Comparing the custom coupe and the '67 roadster hoods, the coupe's scoop area appears slightly higher than the roadster?. Those goofy scoops on the fender vents of the coupe are somewhat reminiscent of the style on the '68 'Vette here a few weeks back where the guy was wondering if it was a Motion car?. They were a single scoop and kind've looked like a smaller Thunderbolt hood scoop...could be the same Vette customizer?.  ~ Pete
