'66 396 4-speed BelAir
What started out as a simple "look what I came across" on another thread has turned into a real interest by several people so I contacted the owner. I told him I would post it along with his other car on here due to the interest that it generated on my e-mail today. I am in no way connected or compensated so please deal with him direct. His name is Roger T. and you can reach him via e-mail at [email protected] . The car is an original 6 cyl powerglide and now converted to a 396, 4-speed and posi rear. The entire undercarriage and engine compartment are done. The body is solid and has that "day II" look. His asking price is $14,500.

A similar car was for sale at Barrett/Jackson last week. It was a beige six banger that had a 454 in it now. I thought it was a very well done car that caught my attention. It was presented in a tent on ramps and the car was quite the car.

I put my tags on it and drove straight to the Saturday Night Cruise spot....with the Minnseota dust and all... .....they loved it

I especially would like to thank Rick, SS427, for posting this note about this car being for sale. After several weeks of
 over the additional photos the owner sent me ...I finally decided to get the car. I had never purchased a car this far from home....but everything turned out great.... ...I am only 5'2" tall...So, Belair62... can you send me a copy of the Chicago Yellow Pages...so I can drive this thing!
