Correct bolts/nuts used on SHP converters

Have you tried AMK products? I have found them to be very accurate. Their catalog lists part #G-5280 for the torque convertor to flywheel a sbeing a six piece kit. www.amkproducts.com

Here's an addendum to this post. It was suggested to me
that the 6-lug converters only used bolts as the lugs
actually had threaded holes in them. Can anyone confirm
this for me?

Yes they do.......

They use a 3/8 coarse thread bolt Only! Use an appropriate lubricant and torque down. Thats it.

Are these 3/8-16 bolts anything special? In other words,
is the head thickness thinner than normal? What is the
length of the threaded section? Any way you can post an
image of an original?

Those bolts are a grade 5, with a torque of 33 ft. lbs.

Do not use washers!

This is what I found on their website. Doesn't match your
part number though.

The head marking is somewhat different than that on the shetch
provided earlier, but is the overall look of this bolt correct?

I have the 6 bolt converter in my 70 Z-28. I will post some pics tomorrow of the original bolts.
