Default Looking for the history of my 70 RS Z28

Can anyone help me find the right road in looking up the history of my car ?
Mainly, I am interested in finding what dealership it came from and the first owner.
Is it possible to get this info eaisly ?

Z Cooks, May I assume you have a Norwood,OH built 70 Z-28. With some VERY RARE exception these were shipped with no build sheets (whereas L.A, Calif Z were). If you have No docs such as P.O.P., window sticker, etc etc.....I know of no other way to ID selling dealer history.
If you were to post pics and details maybe someone would remember car???????

Selling dealer should be listed in an NICB report if you know someone in law enforcement that could get you one.

Search here and camaros.net on NICB. In short, it is a database for the insurance industry and law enforcement to check to see if a car is stolen. They just happen to have the selling delaler info on most cars. No other info seems to be available in most cases. The bummer is that they will not sell a consumer a report. You have to be in Law Enforcement to be able to access it, and even then they ask lots of questions. It seems to be hard to get a officer to risk getting in trouble to get you one.
