That's good info to know. It brings one more question, though...if it is indeed 'D1', does that signify the year it was made, or the year of car it is made for? In other words, if something was made in 1975 for a 1971 car, would it be marked 'D1' or 'D5'? This is probably a dumb question to any Ford-knowledgeable people, but obviously I am not one of them ![]()
