If they have all of the paperwork and it looks legit it seems to be ok... funny thing is if this was a Camaro it would be more than double the price... IMHO I think that the car is a damn good deal at that number... as long as the engine checks out ok... (no restamps) James

[ QUOTE ] L89 427???? I dont get it??? L89 was for the 396 not the 427... [/ QUOTE ] l89 WAS A 396 IN CAMARO AND CHEVELLE 427 IN CORVETTE. For some reason 68 and 69 vettes dont bring strong money in L89 form, even the convertibles. Its a good deal at 30k,but done coupes are well under 100K . |

I've always thought they were way too cheap too! . Remember that one someone advertised here about a year back for like 18 thou w/ original engine? . They're still a deal and this one sure looks like it's worth a closer look at the paper! . ~ Pete

They only made 390 in 69. I think that given the performance they are a good buy at the current prices... they really have not gone up by any large amount in the last 3-5 years... they were well under 100k back then and still are a good bit under 100k.
