The 454 driveshafts are very hard to find anywhere. A good driveshaft shop can make one for you by changing the welded yokes and shortening a typical Chevelle driveshaft to about 54-1/2 inches. Rememeber the 454 cars used wider u-joint and no outside clips. I believe the u-joint and weld yokes are 3R style. Pontiac used these yokes on many cars. Parts are easily obtainable from your local driveshaft guy. Look under your bro's other LS6 car for exact measurments. Also I believe the difference between Auto and Stick is only around 3/4 of an inch. Both used the large TH400 slip yoke at the front and the rear flange on your 12 bolt must also be the wider type.
