Good advice from Paul, especially if all you want to do is look at the cars. *But* if you're looking for the full "Barrett-Jackson experience" you need to go on Friday or Saturday (1/19 or 1/20). Way more crowded and more expensive to get in, for sure, but all the hype, excitement, and crowds is something you might want to try just once

Be advised that you can go to the Pavillions as early as 0700 and see plenty of cars. Should be a full lot by 0930. Two years ago I showed at 0645 and almost missed a spot in the main parking area. A terrific opportunity not only for quantity muscle, but some unique gems too.
Also, don't forget Russo and Steele Auction, a tad further north of BJs off of the 101 at the Scottsdale Rd exit (you can see their tents from the 101 just to the south). They are expanding to 5 days (from 4) and have a higher percentage of muscle cars than BJ (my opinion) ![]()

Thanks everyone! I really wanted to just get a flavor, can spend a full day, and don't need the most expensive one.
We are hoping to check out some local areas for real estate for future retirement. And works out well that I could at least get a day in at BJ. Will definetely get the Pavillions too. Have heard about that place....... |
