1967 Impala SS 396 4 speed; need your input

I agree to a point thugh I would hate to overpay for a car, I do like to get into them for market or below if possible. I have found that I am happy when I am not upside down in a vehicle. The car is a base model, 12 bolt, no ps, no pb, built to go fast. It is just getting hard to know what market is with the prices on ebay, BJ, and others flucuating so much.
do you know if there is an impala board or good source for info, I thought there was a full size chevy group out there.
