[ QUOTE ]
From what I've seen, they received the black/chrome version. I've seen '70 monte carlos and pickup trucks with them, just oridinary cars sold from Yenko. [/ QUOTE ] I'm going to have to disagree Marlin, at least on a '68. While I do know Yenko used the black/chrome emblems on just about everything that came through the dealership from 1970-on, I don't believe that version of the Yenko emblem existed until '70. IMO, if a car from Yenko recieved any emblem(s) in 68, it would have been the red/white and blue painted version, with pins. (which by the way, was introduced sometime in 68) To answer Rob's question, I don't think Yenko put the red/white/blue pinned emblems on too many "regular" cars (ones not sold through Yenko Sportscars) in 68/69, but after they got the stick-on type in 70 they stuck 'em on everything, even used cars. Here's an example of a well worn black/chrome 70-up style emblem on the tail of an original paint '70 LT-1 Vette. ![]() |

I saw one stuck to the air cleaner. On a original unrestored Yenko 81 turbo Z today. Earl

I would agree with CJ on this one. Now that I think about it, I've only seen the '70 monte carlo and the early 70's pickup with the black/chrome. I've not seen a '68 or '69 non-supercar from Yenko.
