Actually.... the only deuce that has been raced by a good driver is COPO Pete's silver one, driven by none other than JJ himself! Pete's silver copo nova has run 13.2x's, without special pipes, and the stock 4.10 gear. I remember the MCR article where they threw on a set of drag radials and the copo nova clicked off a 12.9x So, with a competent driver, and some tuning, these copo novas are actually quite impressive.

If you want to talk 'silly'.... I passed up two '69 Yenko Novas because I wanted one with a COPO drivetrain vs. a dealer installed 427 Oh well.... I love my Yenko Deuce, even if it's only a 14.2 car with my rookie butt
