No not at all Colin...never tested the drum brakes on that green lift off hood at your Power Tour BBQ either.

I would just like to point out that Belair has no proof of this alleged abuse. It was probably my twin brother driving
![]() BTW, Belair - your sig is old. Change it or be square ![]() |

Colin, I had that clutch pedal adjusted real low so its a few inches out of Belairs reach. Hes going to have to bolt a 2x4 on it if he wants to go on a test ride.

...yeah and did you get the roof lowered back to stock height ? It was raised so Sasquatch could drive it.

You know, everyone always thinks the ElCaminos are much lighter in the rear and are prone to losing traction more easily, but if you look at the engineering specs, they are actually a tad heavier on the rear axle than a sedan or coupe. They have a full station wagon floor pan under the bed floor, plus inner steel panels from the wheel house back, plus the heavy gauge sill at the back of the bed, and the extra tall reinforcements for latches in the rear quarters......not to mention the weight of the tail gate itself!. That all than more makes up for the lack of a "C" pillar and a deck lid.
